Smart Drawdown Rules Instant Funding
The Instant Funding plan uses a smart drawdown system rather than a fixed drawdown limit. This means your maximum drawdown adjusts based on your performance, rewarding profitability while keeping risk under control.
How It Works
Starting limit: your initial maximum drawdown is set at -10% of your account balance.
Trigger point: once your account reaches +5% profit, the drawdown locks in at a new level equal to 5% below your balance at that moment.
Fixed from there: once locked, the drawdown level does not move again regardless of further profits. It stays fixed at that dollar amount for the life of the account.
Example on a $10,000 Account
Your starting drawdown limit is -$1,000, meaning your account cannot fall below $9,000.
Once your balance reaches $10,500 (a +5% gain), the drawdown locks at $9,975, which is 5% below $10,500.
From that point on, $9,975 is your permanent floor regardless of how much further you profit.
Scaled Accounts
If your Instant Funding account scales up, the fixed drawdown is recalculated as 5% below the new base balance at the time the scaling is approved. Accumulated profits are excluded from this calculation.
