Crypto trading strategies don't live or die on the idea. They live or die on execution. Two traders can take the same setup and end up with completely different results.

This section is a library of crypto trading guides built for real markets. You'll find practical breakdowns of order types, timing, slippage, spreads, and trading fees – the mechanics that decide whether your P&L matches the chart. We also cover crypto trading strategies that traders actually use: trend following, mean reversion, breakout structures, and the decision rules that make each one consistent.

If you're building a process, start with the basics: position sizing and risk. The fastest way to "improve your win rate" is usually to stop donating money through bad execution. Most leaks are boring: accidental taker fills, chasing wicks, entering late, exiting emotionally, and overtrading when conditions aren't there.

Execution basics that improve every crypto trading strategy

Good execution is a habit, not a hack. In fast markets, your order type matters. Market orders buy certainty, but they can increase slippage and widen your effective cost. Limit orders can reduce costs, but they require patience and they won't always fill. Knowing when to use each is a skill that compounds.

The same is true for timing. Trading thin hours can increase slippage and make spreads wider, especially on smaller pairs. Deep liquidity windows tend to give cleaner fills and more stable price action. And fees matter more than people admit: if you trade frequently, consistent trading fees can erase a tight edge even when your strategy is "right."

Crypto trading is simple to start and brutal to master because the market is always testing your discipline. Build your process around execution first, then strategy. When you can control fills, costs, and risk, your ideas finally get room to work.
